I am getting an AEM EMS... Is there a base map to start with or does the unit come with one? I have basic mods (intake, DP, Exhaust)

 

The CD that is included with the EMS has the software that is to be loaded on your laptop or computer that you will tune with. It has the base map calibrations in it for you whether you have converted to a speed density setup or are still using the MAF sensor. Also, the AEM forum has a lot more info about the EMS than this forum too.

 

Thats cool I didn't know weather anyone had a better map that I could load to start with
