Is the AEM a direct PnP on the JDM Evo8 MR?

Do I need to do any re-wirings? Please advise....

I would like to know the same things, as I do know some one has done it on a JDM evo 7 but do any one know which wire need to swaped ? and some explenations in details ...

i ahve an aem on my usdm 05' everything works

 

the USDM MR works great cause it's uses a three plugs wiring harness.. however the JDM MR uses the 4 plugs harness.. .. JDM EVO 7 uses three plugs Ecu Wire harness so it should be ok after swapping the 2 wires..

 

the usdm MR uses 4 plugs. im just answering the guy who posted above me. not sure what you have to do to get it working on your car.

 

yes the USDM MR uses the 4 plugs like the normal Evo8 like it's illustrated on http://www.roadraceengineering.com/e...-ecuwiring.htm .. I don't know why I said what I said I made a mistake . I should know this cause I found this out when I was trying to install the wires patch for my AFC that I got from the States. but didn't worked out cause of the diffrents in number of plugs. oo well.. can't use use the AEM for my MR then.. unless there's a way to do it..

 

can you take a picture of the plug on the ecu side? i might have an idea that will work although it will require a lot of work an patience.
