air temp sensor

hai........can anybody answer this question please.
did you suppose to have air temp sensor in oder to install vta bov?
what i have is recirculate.

do you need an air temp sensor to use a vent-to-atmosphere blow-off-valve?

air temp.
its a feedback sensor the (ECU) uses to adjust for different conditions. if air temp is too high, you can set your parameters to compensate for it.

is that gona be fine if you dont have it?
all i got is AEM ems, the thing on top of the stock manifold( i dont know what's the name of it), i use ebc (hks evc v). no air temp sensor.

If you are running a map sensor then you need the air temp sensor

You utilize it to convert to a speed density setup using a MAP sensor in conjunction with the AIT sensor. You then eliminate the MAF setup.
