AEM Uego wideband

Guys,

i just installed my AEM Uego wideband yesterday and i just want to make sure that its correct,

red - power
black - ground
both were tapped behind my radio connections

Sensor - ( no cat ) on the exhaust bong right after the cat-delete.

at idle afr = 14.7-15.3
cruising afr 3000rpm / -11 boost vacum = 14.7-15.5
WOT full boost 22psi - 10.0-10.8

would i need to connect the other 2 wires, i am really not into logging it, as i wouldnt even know how to ready it LOL .. but is this reading and install correct ?

thanks in advance !

I would tap the UEGO into your AEM EMS and use 02 feedback (EMS would change fuel based on what AFR you set it to try and correct to). Also makes it easy if you need to log, all information would be in 1 graph and you can slowly go through the rpms and watch air/fuel, timing, knock, engine load etc...

AFR looks good, running a bit rich in WOT but better rich than lean.

Np.

My car seems to like 11.1 to 11.3 AFR across the board @ 22lbs. All cars are different I've seen some that can get away with 11.8, but anything over 11.5 and my car starts getting some knock spikes..

I installed mine last weekend and did the wiring exactly the same as you...but had another bung welded onto my downpipe.

Idle: 15.3:1
Cruising: 14.7:1
WOT: 11.2:1
WOT in 5th: 10.2:1

What is the optimal place to mount the o2 sensor? b4 cat or after?

from what i've read .. if you have a cat, its pre-cat .. but if you have a testpipe .. it should be ok after or before it ... as long as its 24" away from the turbo, i think, not 100% sure about the distance

Before the cat is the place to be, but roughly at least 18" away from the turbo. I have a test pipe, so I have mine tapped there, and it works perfectly. It was 0.1 within the brand new dyno 02 sensor.

Can you get away with getting good readings if you place the sensor behind a Hi-flow cat?

no, any cat will catalyze the gasses throwing to wideband sensor completely........dont matter if its high floor or regular cat, it must go b4 it! if its a test pipe it can go in the stock rear o2 location

I just got my AEM UEGO today and had a few questions before installing. Can I install it in the bung thats in my test pipe? Also how are you guys getting the cable from inside the car to under the car??? it seems like its going to be a PITA! I was thinking of removing the console and drilling a hole down and feeding the cables through that way.
