AEM Uego wideband
wow, you guys should all have your sensors moved, Innovate tuning and AEM the leaders in widebands both state RIGHT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH THE GAUGE TO PLACE THE WIDEBAND AT LEAST 36" AWAY FROM THE TURBO THE 18" IS IF ITS A NATURALLY ASPIRATED CAR!!!!(which the evo is not!) you guys will burn out your sensors prematurely , if you dont move them at least 36" away from turbo outlet, also if you have a cat then you have no choice but to put it before, the whole point of a cat is to reduce emissions, so it would give you a false reading, if you have a test pipe, or no pipe at all just downpipe to catback (example is the DCsports downpipe) then it can be placed anywhere, if any of you guys have been tuned on a dyno then you know that they often use a sniffer...its simply a wideband that they toss into your exhaust...they do this for anyone who doesnt have a cat...because it wont matter, also on a side note, the AFR that is like around the 10's at WOT is a stock never tuned car or a very conservative tune, if its in the 11's then you have been tuned. that will explain the difference in readings
on a side note, the reason he suggested you run it into the EMS is cause your in the AEM EMS thread group
