Need some logs
Need some logs
Hey I was hoping some of the more powerful guys might want to send me a few logs of thier cars at high boost.
I am trying to see how my car truly compares to other guys.. most of the people with bigger turbos for some reason dont post thier results from the track very often so I really dont have much to compare mine to.
Im just using the HP calculator thingy that someone made for the EMS and kinda going off that but the only logs I can find from other people are generally low 12 second cars with stock turbos. Anyone got a big turbo with lotsa boost that I can compare my logs with?

And I know I should just go to the track and see what it will do and Im going to. But benchracing fills the time before I go
The HP program read around 470-480ish when I ran it last and trapped at 127.
It now reads 530ish and my guess is the low 130s will be the trap but who knows.

Where can I get this HP calc program you speak of?
Also, I could post you some logs..but they're still stock turbo so no help to you. Unfortunately it will be a few weeks before I have the 50 trim completed.

Beat ya to it.
The cool thing about this, is if all the params are set properly it is very close. I have a friend used a dynojet than on the way home used this. The log was within 10hp of the dynojet. Read the whole first thread or two. You need to use the max internal sampling rate for engine speed. And be in the specific gear you set this up for so it works properly.
Also you will notice the hp and trq lines in the log wont look like they match the rpms for some reason.

The .stf files are what you want. Some are 13psi some are 32psi. http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php?topic=6217.0
Thats where i got it from.

Those are from a dyno I presume, the RPMs dont go up fast enough to be on a street I doubt. The HP calculator only guesses in the lowish 400s on thier high boost pulls.
my Talon will be tuned by Martin from AMS within the next month or two (sorry Sean, I tried to offer you my sweet deal, but you never responded. $3k seems like a lot to pass up... but whatever).
It will be about 500 hp. I will send you some lgos if you want. What parameters do you want to see? I have some logs of a ****ty tune at over 400hp if you want those now.

Any logs from 3rd or 4th gear (On the street not a dyno). The only thing I need to see the calculator is the RPM logged quickly and the actual power the car puts down.
Id love to see the ones you have now and the new ones you get. Im assuming the car has the stock gear ratio and rim size for the 92 DSM?
