By the way, my IX is near stock.... but figure by end of winter time, the more substantial mods will have started.

Not yet, I don't believe it has been released to the public yet. And I am not a vendor, I am working with a shop on my car.....

I will try and find the part number in the near future. I will be going to the shop to see the unit in person on Saturday, camera phone pic just isn't cutting it

Is this new one just a different plug setup for the IX ecu? Can you control the Mivec with the VIII AEM EMS? Just a curiosity question.

It is a different plug and no you could not use a 30-1313 to control the new MIVEC valvetrain. Different hardware setup...

EMS is installed now, nothing major to report, showing 14-15 lbs of boost. Everything set really conservative until we get to a dyno. Working on cold starts, idle, etc. Seems that sometimes when you disengage the clutch over 2k, it will idle at 2k....if you run the rpm down just below 2k while in gear then disengage the clutch, it will back down to normal idle.

Cold starts takes a bit (expected). This will be worked on. Seems with the EMS, that the ECU keeps power. Even after you remove car keys, you can still work with the EMS unit with your laptop.

Will update Thursday or so after dyno time.

I was told you "could" control the Mivec but I can't say for sure, I will have the tuner post more details.....

So far, no real issues to report.

I heard if u use the AEM then it will disable the A/C. is that true? everyone telling me to wait for the Apex-i Power FC because that one will keep ur A/C and ezier to deal with. I would like to use the AEM because it have more control of it, but just can not live out with the A/C...
