We tried a couple of things, and are trying a resistor today, I'll let you know what happens. I heard that the other one in CA is not having this issue. Not sure about the 3rd one out there.

With new ECU's you'll always run into bugs sooner or later. I mean we still run into occasional bugs on some Subaru ECUs months after the release date (though nothing serious). By all looks the AEM IX Ecu is good to go, although I'm sure minor bugs will crop up. We have one left btw.

Can the cams be controlled? Such as overlap, advance/retard through the AEM? IX of course.

I have a quick ? im new to the aem and i have the serial cable but the port on my laptop want work. I heard about people buying a serial to usb but i want to know what the people with AEM's do and what brand and where to buy from. Did a search and didnt find any peolpe with aem's. thanks

I use the Belkin usb to serial adaptor. But you can pretty much use any brand, Radio Shack, comp USA, Best Buy , etc should all carry the usb to serial adaptors.

thanks, just what i needed to know i was just making sure there wasn't any exact number or any thing that i would need, but i just need a 9 pin serial to usb, please post if im wrong and if not cool and thanks for the help.
