Buschur's updated kits can be wired into the AEM EMS

I have Buschur's kit. Works flawlessly with the EMS. An output from the AI kit is wired up so that if for some reason the alcohol fails to flow, the EMS pulls timing and adds fuel. Buschur also set up the EMS map so that when the alcohol starts to spray it is completely seamless. You would never know it's there . . . except for the huge rush you get when you hit full boost! Maybe my car is weird, but it's making as much power on 93+meth at 25psi as it makes on C-16 at 28psi.

We won't install any alky kits here anymore, other than the SMC's. If you ask us enough you actually MIGHT get us to install it but we will NOT, under ANY circumstance attempt to wire it into the AEM. The ONLY kit we will wire into the AEM and let it control the alky functions on is the SMC kit we sell.

You bored?? Bringing back old threads and all My last post was over a month ago!

Anyway, the SMC kit you installed and tuned is still working great! I love the race gas size power on regular 93 octane!

Some day when I win the lottery and get lots of extra money I want to get a dual fuel rail setup and use 4 injectors for alcohol, 4 for gasoline, and have that all controlled by the EMS.

We have wired the snow kit in, it is a PITA as it doesn't have a 5 volt output, the SMC kit does. The SMC kit also fits like a glove and it twice as clean when doing the install.

I would listen Buschur twice. SMC hands down. I used it on my car wired to EMS by Buschur for couple months and worked great.. now just switched to race gas.

I sometimes regret that I had my SMC taken out..

Why mess with some new kit that isn't proven? It just makes no sense what-so-ever to want to try some new crap that hasn't proven itself. The SMC kit has proven to be extremely good, has great safety features and is easily wired into any stand alone. The Snow kit has also proven to work well.

No offense to Perrin, haven't seen the kit. Just is mind boggling to me why everyone wants to re-invent the wheel.

You just can't beat the SMC kit wired into the AEM when it comes to safety and tuning, you eliminate all of the guess work and create a much more stable environment.
