Need some help/info

My EMS is tuned by Dave from Buschur Racing. I've showed/told him what my problem has been since day one of the EMS install. He's tried many things and can't figure out what the problem is. I'm still using ver 1.11.

The car is stalling. I try not to drive with my family in the car, especially my 9 month daughter for fear of it stalling out in the middle of an intersection, which has happened.

Here's what's happening:
When cruising with the rpm's at around 2000, I depress the clutch and the car will just fall flat on it's face. The tach just drops and the car never catches its self. I usually just try and keep the rpms above 2600 to prevent this from happening when shifting. Shift to a lower gear, let the rpms raise, depress the clutch and it won't stall. I can turn, stop do what ever I need with no problems.

I can duplicate this problem pretty much anytime, as long as the car is around 2000 rpms when the clutch is depressed. I was going to take a video of it to show what was happening but hopefully someone will be familiar with this problem and I won't have to.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Pete

Note:
This is not a Buschur bashing. Dave has tried to help me many times.

No, it only happens when I'm driving.

I highly doubt that he would be using the stock MAF at his level and with a AEM EMS, on MAP based systems vent to atmosphere is no problem.

The only thing I could think of is High Idle settings, but Dave should have that set...

It's likely in your high idle settings, read the help files, they actually make sense in that section.

Yep probably correct, most people seem to not use a few of the idle settings, I am sure if you sent your map to David he would take a glance and be able to tell if it would be an easy fix. I am only recommending this since he is the one that tuned the car to begin with.

I use the high idle settings to prevent that stalling. For me it usually only happend when turning the wheel as I stopped though, but it's the same thing as what you are seeing. I usually set it to something like 200 rpm offset, 10 mph, 5 seconds, IIRC. These are right on the main idle options dialog box, IIRC.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll send the map out to Dave and ask him to check it out for me.
