ok well I have just a little problem. its with my gauge. It will work for about a whole 5 sec going from lets say 13.0 to 15.9 bouncing around then it will just got off the chart above 16 and never come down. mods are in the sig i don't get it. and its kinda has a farting noise when im driving at a constant speed like a pop pop pop but thru the exhaust. and it smells real rich. any thing that will help me with this problem will help greatly. thanks again. I think that i just need a re tune but what do i know im not a guru like you guys here. ams has done all the installing of the aem ugo aem ems alky.

it sounds like something else is wrong with the car. If its going off the scale Rich. the car is most likely rich.

The first Thing I would look for is a nasty boost leak. That will cause you to run very rich and cause that pop you are experiencing.

I have checked for a boost leak i have not seen anything and its like -20 on the gauge like it always has been at idle. how much would a retune be from you guys. you can pm me a price for the dyno. its been doign it for a week now but ill check again for a leak I hope thats all it is.

Off the chart high is ultra lean... is your alcohol pump working properly?

I haven't used it in awhile. I couldn't remember if it was alky or meth so i turned the boost down to 20psi and have just been driving it normal till i could get it re-tuned and found out for sure what it was alky or meth. ams said that if they installed it and tuned it which they did its meth. but i don't wanna take the chance of it going kaboom so im taking it easy and wanting to get a retune. but now this happens so idk i have not been having any luck the last 4 months so this just adds to the cake.

update. now its stuck at 14.7 and does not move

 

what did you do differently ? If it's stuck at 14.7 you might want to check the connector to the sensor. It will read 14.7 if the sensor harness is not plugged in
