Problem w/ AEM PEMS for Evo VIII
Problem w/ AEM PEMS for Evo VIII
My MAF died (Mitsubishi diagnostic tool said so) and I decided to go AEM 1313 with MAP, IAT and AFR (AEM 30-4100).
Read all manuals, almost all forums and did the installation. Checked all sensors, calibrated TPS and AFR, disconected all stock O2 sensors, checked timing with timing strobe (the most difficult part), loaded updated (with the above stuff) 1313 MAP.cal and fired up the engine.
Car runs bad! Idles @ around 1200 rpm, misfiring. Added some fuel to no avail.
I noticed that the airflow gauge on the "Home" digital dash shows full like the car is reading too much airflow (I did not even try to move the car!).
Am I missing something?

what are your mods?
the base file is at best, good enough to start your car.
i can email you 1 of my files if you want. my mods are in my sig. i use my car as a dd, so i consider them safe, as I have put about 15k on my car since the aem.
