if I wanted to see it I would have gotten it, no need. No one else in the area had a stock turbo at the time, the only time I ever saw you run your car against another one was at the track, and sad to say I remember you leaving right afterwards, tail tucked.

You were the one *****ing about your dipstick flying out, and how you didn't like the way Nick was tuning at the time.

I'm done here, I can't compete with two faces, let alone one

EDIT: btw, for the record, I'm neither for or against DTM, and I'm sorry this OT convo has cluttered up the thread.

Regardless, put my vote up for Brad if it has to be in VA.

I would trust Nick at DTM. He has been tuning Evos with AEMs for a long time; is conservative, careful and extremely focused when he tunes; and has a load-bearing dyno (Mustang) to load the car properly for the tuning process.

There are a bunch of shops around that can give you a powerful full throttle tune that will rip off a big dyno number for you to post on the internet, but there's a lot more to it than that. For example, standalones can be very finicky in part throttle regular driving. I've been in two aftermarket turbo kit Evo's tuned by Nick and they drove as smoothly as stock on the street. They also started right up cold.

And, BTW, a good tune does not take 10 hours! Maybe for someone that isn't accustomed to the Evo and is starting from scratch on your car. $750 is a total rip off for an Evo AEM tune. It might be a deal for a Viper AEM tune, but that's not market price for this car.

its gonna be ok i know you want nick's tune and some cookies ive had my issues with nick but that's cleared and taken care of we are still cool no offense taken and there is no two faces done venting now back to the tuner question if he goes to brad brooks he might as well take to atlantic motorsports and get a guaranteed extra 75 hp on that dyno lol
