Cold start and E85 calibration!
I just adjusted all my startup tables and going to see how my car starts while cold. I will report back and see I need to make any "custom" changes to my car's setup. I have a Tull Blown twin 255lph Walbro in-tank pump with -10AN fuel feed and -8AN return lines along with a 1000hp Aeromotive fuel rail and regulator.
wow, calibrations worked great! I used to have to tap the gas upon initial start-up, but I just started the car while it was cold and outside temp is around 45* and she fired up no problem!

Have anyone here changed their RPM Breakpoints..? in order to fine tune the idle points..?

Is anyone start rpm breakpoint set at 650rpm..? and increasing by 400rpm at a time..?
How would this affect my initial crank and crank injector table..?

^ yes, you can change your rpm breakpoints.
i start @ 500, then go 800, 1100, 1500 then increase every 400 rpm up to 8300.
as i dont intentionally rev my engine past 8300 rpm.

The AEM is very good at calculating load cells, so if your lowest RPM break point is 500rpm, it will calculate anything below. Another option to play around with is the "throttle injection correction table" under fuel trims you can adjust fuel by throttle % and works very well for fine tuning very low throttle loads. Look at the "throttle injection correction table" as your "low throttle" settings. Makes things a bit easier and it won't make your main fuel map like like crap.

We are experiencing some LEAN condition the first 3 -to- 5 minutes after cold start, and I'm having a little bit of headache trying to interpret all the info you guys are providing.
So, which table do we need to raise or lower to enrich up a little after start up..?
Also, this morning we noticed that after trying to start the engine after the pump primes, it didn't start at first try. At the second try it starts, but jumped to 3000 RPM then fall slowly and the engine dies. At the third try it fire up OK, bounced the rpm a little, then the lean condition, then it was OK after a while, then at idle and while driving it was just fine.
Lean condition = 15 to 16 AFR at the Innovate Wideband...

You need to adjust the "Warm up enrichment table" during warm up You can find this table under "engine start/warm up enrichment table" View it as graph and adjust accordingly to coolant temp, adjust this table while the car is warming up. Good luck.
Another thing to adjust during warm up and a few minutes after warm up is the Accel warm up enrichment table
This can be found under
Fuel/acceleration fuel/throttle Accel/Accel enrich table View it as graph and adjust accordingly to coolant temp. Typically in lower coolant temps it's going to be high and progressively come down to about 176 degree coolant temp, above 176 coolant temp leave it at 0% correction.

OK, did some adjustments and the RPM don't jump anymore... BUT, at start, the first try it goes up to 3000-rpm and then goes down and dies.. at second, I have to tap the throttle, it starts goes to 1500-rpm and slowly goes down to 1000...
I'm almost there just need to solve the first start at 3000-rpm and then dies..!!!
What else do I have to adjust ..??

I'm going to try tweaking my setup, but was just curious if you had any recommendations as to which tables I should be trying your numbers, and which tables I should be adjusting downwards b/c of my fuel setup?
I'm running a 2.3 with 1600cc injectors in Denver.

OK, did some adjustments and the RPM don't jump anymore... BUT, at start, the first try it goes up to 3000-rpm and then goes down and dies.. at second, I have to tap the throttle, it starts goes to 1500-rpm and slowly goes down to 1000...

Try flat lining this table to 0 rpm "engine start/advance engine start/rpm offset vs start table"
See if that stabilizes the 1st start up idle. Some cars like to have some correction while others don't. It's all trial and error.
