So I just ordered an AEM Meth kit and AEM Meth Injector Monitor kit, and AEM Boost Control solenoid. I am going to conver the car to EBC and 87oct + Meth.

I figure I will target 18psi on just straight 87oct, and on the meth I will shoot for 22-24psi. My power goal is going to be 340-350whp.

I am going to use the nitrous map as my failsafe and the boost switch. So in the event the meth systems goes into fail mode I will be at 18psi.

The car has been running very well on E85, however I have some long distance trips coming up and I would love to be able to still make great power and get awesome mpg and run ghetto gas.

All the parts show up next week some time, as soon as they do I will start posting pics of the install.

I got the Meth Injection Monitor Kit, and my EBC, I am still waiting on the Meth kit to show up.

I just think it would be fun to run **** in the car and still make awesome power.

It has been very wierd setting the car up on EBC. I finally got the bost where it needs to be, now I just need to get the meth kit and I will be on my way.

 

^ what ebc are you using? what methods are you using to control boost? are you running feedback?

i found it difficult with feedback, basically just repeatable, during how/cold situations.

so now i just get my duty map close & use the error correction to make subtle tweaks... works pretty good imo.

 

I have had the AEM Boost solenoid for a while however I never used it. Was running the MBC for ever. I am pretty happy with the AEM/mac solenoid I was able to hold boost about the same as on my MBC, even using the feedback. I will have more results with it after running the meth, because I will have the boost very low on pump(87oct) and try to hit about 26-28psi on pump+meth.
