BR double pumper to relay to aem question.

I have a question for an aem guru.
I got rid of my hobbs switch on my double pumper and went with a relay.
I wired it into the aem ecu(evo 9) pin 26 Low side 2 rear heated o2 sensor. I have no rear o2 so its an open switch.
I configured the load to 6 psi(same as the hobbs switch). Is there any way to test it other than taking the car out and logging it. Does this seem like the correct way of adding it to a relay and configuring it on the aem. Any and all help is appreciated.

If you have both pumps on at idle they may over-run the stock regulator.

The second one is staged to come on at 6psi just like with the hobbs switch. I just want to know if its configured correctly.

Thats an easy one. Lower the switch ON/OFF value. If the conditions meet the value you set, it will turn on. So set the value for something totally different, like coolant temp. Set it to 180 degrees coolant temp, as if the relay was being used to turn on a fan (The AEM doesnt know the difference) and when your coolant temp hits the mark, if the pump turns on, your good. That will just verify your wiring is right and the switch is functioning. Then set it back to your 6psi and do a test run.

EDIT. If you truly want to test it based on pressure, why not fake the AEM into see'ing the 6psi. If you have a compressor, supply the sensor with some air pressure and see if it triggers the 2nd pump.

^^ even better than that... change all parameters to be met when key is on engine off. Set the throttle parameter to 50%. Now when you press the throttle to 50% the pump will come on. You can use this method to test just about every output on the aem. Even make your coils fire....

Same thing as doing it for a fan, just change the params to match when you want it to come online.

coolant = 0, and set load = what ever psi you want to pump to turn on at.
