Open arm pro. Select cancel then offline. Go to file, connection port. A box will open. Select your cable from the drop down menu. If your cable name does not appear then you have cable/driver problems.

I use aem pro v1.0. It didn't connect for me at first either. I had to play with the port settings under the serial option. Once I selected the correct port, it linked up fine

Thanks guys I was able to finally get online; I was able to connect via the serial drop down option once I updated the drivers, but I'm now getting these two messages:
1.When I click "ECU Connect (Shift+F7)" I get the the error message which is picture #1 (aem 1).
2.Then when I click "New Calibration (Shift+F8)", I get the second error message which is the 2nd pic (aem 2), where it says exactly" "No installation for ECU type 'AEM15GEN version VTTRX'
This is all under AEMPro.... although there is also a "EMS Calibration" file with a .VTTRX extension, which also can automatically open AEMPro.
(But I cannot find any 'AEM15GEN version VTTRX' in any of the folders.)
I believe the old tuner must of put some kind of a lock because on either option above to open AEMPRo (or clicking the .VTTRX extension file) and get the files running, I just get those two error messages.
Even when I click under "Configure" to "ECU Setup" to "Run ECU Setup Wizard", I get a message that also says "Could not find AEM Configuration File. Please Call AEM for Assistance". Vehicle configuration Wizard "manufacture" drop down option is blank.
Lastly, I tried to "select new file type", and there's a whole list of options under "AEM15GEN", ranging from V0.22 to V1.21
I was doing a third gear pull and after 5500 RPMS, my wideband went to 12.3.
I would like to add some fuel to the upper RPMS and I would like to monitor the knock if any.
Any additional help or pointers is greatly appreciated.

It's locked via turbo trix in jersey.
You may get lucky and they might give you a stock cal unlocked or your going to have to send it in to aem to wipe clean. No way around it at all unless you have that file that turbo trix uses which you won't get. Like I said you may get lucky and will send you a base cal that's unlocked

Uninstall AEM Pro, and Serial to USB Drivers. Reboot laptop. Reinstall Serial to USB Drivers, reinstall AEM Pro, reboot.
Turn your car to ACC, and try to connect.
If you cannot connect still, it could be a non compatibal serial to usb driver.
Series 1 ECU's cannot be password protected, that only exists on the series 2.
