AEM pass inspection?

Hello everyone I'm new here. I have a problem and need help! I tried to search but didn't find exactly what I should do
I got my car and the car has AEM in it. It didn't pass inspection(NJ), I'm trying to make it pass inspection, is there anyway I can do that? Or I have to buy stock ecu and install it?
Thanks in advance

You stand to make a lot of money if you know how to pass it properly.

I recommend getting rid of that AEM and going back to the stock ECU. You can still make the same power on the street with a stock ecu. Plus, you can get actually get inspected and start the car on the first crank. The AEM will never pass at the station because when they plug in the OBDII reader, it doesn't see it.

There is currently NO aftermarket ECU for the Evo that could properly pass states smog inspections.

Maybe I should put this in my signature so people would stop asking...
