Infinity with stock trigger disk question

Hey guys, I'm having trouble with my Evo consistently taking too long to start with my infinity. Specifically it takes about 4 cranks to bring the SyncState from 0 to 1 and then it fires up soon after. I was wondering if anyone using there stock trigger disk or with any info could shed some light on this issue. Thanks a bunch!

that's how it works. it needs to complete 1 full cycle (4 'cranks') to sync up.

it should start within a second or 2. otherwise your tune just sucks. no way should you be killing starters because of it.

Yeah, that shouldn't be killing starters. My stock ECU on speed density typically takes 4-6 "cranks" from the starter to start.

Thanks guys I'll have to work on my start tune for a quick start after syncing. Ya my cold start can definitely use some help because if it doesn't start after syncing on my first attempt it seems that my starter cant stay out long enough and i get a grinding.

Can you capture some data and measure the time between when SyncStat is recognized to when the engine speed reaches 1000 rpm? .... for ref; mine runs between 0.8-1.2 secs
