Infinity and oem fuel pump resistor

I have my evo up and running on the infinity 506 pnp. Does anyone know how it runs the fuel pump? Is the supplied 12v from the infinity wired to run through the factory resistor or is the fuel pump always receiving a constant 12v?

The fuel pump is activated via the 'Lowside 0' output of the Infinity when using the Evo 8 PnP adapter harness (AEM part #30-3511). This is pin C1-41 at the Infinity or pin 22 at the oem Evo 8 ECU connector. This is a switched to ground output, meaning that when it is grounded, it activates the main fuel pump relay and sends power to the fuel pump.

The fuel pump low speed relay is pin 39 at the oem Evo 8 ECU connector. In the older AEM Series 1 & 2 boxes, this pin was always disabled by default to maintain full voltage to the fuel pump, but you could manually enable the pin to use the low speed relay if you wanted to. With the Infinity on the other hand, I don't see any notes in the Evo 8 PnP adapter harness instructions that even mentions pin 39. So, more than likely it's not used / not connected.

Thank you! I've been trying to tune the evo and it seemed I wasn't getting the fuel delivery I wanted. I thought it was on low side?? I'm going mess with it again this weekend. Is there a pin out somewhere that shows the infinity plug to oem plugs? Thanks again for your help

I attached the instructions for the AEM 30-3511 PnP adapter harness. It provides a pinout list for the Infinity, the corresponding stock Evo 8 pin, and their functions.

Here's the picture I always reference when I need to look up the stock ECU pinout. Take note that this is from the WIRE SIDE of the connector. In other words, looking at the connector from the side the wires enter, not from the side where you would be looking at the pins. If you want to know if the fuel pump low speed relay is used, find pin 39 from the picture below and see if there's a wire on the Infinity PnP harness side that connects to it.

Here's a picture for the pinout on the Infinity 506. This should be as if you were looking at the Infinity itself without the adapter harness plugged into it.

From my recollection when I looked at this some years ago, the Infinity plug and play harness does not trigger the relay for this resistor, i.e. it runs the full 12v to the fuel pump at all times.
