Got My AEM EMS Installed Yesterday

Had my AEM installed yesterday by the guys at turbotrix. Let me just tell you, compared to my reflash (which was great), the AEM is fantastic. with 272's the car idle's like the day i drove it away from the dealer. the car runs very smooth, and when the power comes on, you can definately notice when the maps change. The car made 365/365 yesterday on the dyno with conservative tuning. Lets just say i'm a pretty happy guy.

Thank again to mark and everyone else at turbotrix. And if for some reason Keith gets to read this, The next one i'm bringing in is an 82 with with some surgical modification. get ready...

Did you dyno the car before the install of the AEM?

I'm assuming stock turbo, so probably in the 300-320 range on pump gas at the wheels. 350-360 with race gas.

300-320 at the wheels???? I'm making 320 right now without the cams, EMS, new intake, test pipe, injectors, head studs, and upper I/C pipe.

I made 360 on a dynojet without cams and upgraded fmic. I saw a guy at turbotrix with a stage 4 BR kit and aem, he made 380, without a upgraded fmic. 320 is kind of low.

Ah, well nevermind, I didn't read the post completely and missed the list of mods... Serves me right for posting without reading... My bad

At least you are taking it to Turbo Trix. Those guys do pretty good with the EMS. Unfortunately there are a lot of "tuners" that have never seen an EMS before and things get all screwy.
