Stock Turbo Quest for 9's

One year ago I had the crazy idea of wanting to create the Fastest Stock Turbo Evo in the world and be the FIRST 9 second stock turbo evo. At the time it seemed like an almost impossible goal but as the car has progressed into its gutted drag car state and all the support along the way it has become a quest of how fast can we get the car to go. As of 7/28/12 the car is making 462whp and 460wtq corrected and 458whp and 456wtq uncorrected on our Mustang Dyno here @ Dynotech Tuning. Only a few more days and we should be headed to the track and hoping to bring home that 9 second time slip. Thank you to everyone along the way who has helped, and look forward to our future projects. Here is a link to the build thread for anyone interested in more details along the way.

Power as of 7/28/2012 on Stock Evo 9 Turbo on Mustang Dyno
WHP: 462
WTQ: 460
(Note: the final numbers settled in at a consistent 467whp/445wtq!)

Awesome job!! Keep up the great work! It is just absurd, the creativity you have to put forth this build and push that car to where it is at!

Very Nice job thus far. Awaiting track outing where all this power will be put to use.

You and me both. Going to be a great week, especially if we make it to the track like we plan. Were just as glad to have you on board bud!

Just so everyone knows this the same car/build from the anti-lag build thread! We just updated it and made it easier as the other thread was getting very long!

Incredible. This just motivated me to switch to some S3's.

But oh my........I don't even want to know how much I'm going to taper on a 2.4L .
