The SAT class does not require a stock placement. It's an 'anything goes class with only 3 rules. Tyler's evo is kind of responsible for this class since he was forced to run in the quick 16 on a bone stock turbo (and qualified too!)lol. Dave is hoping to see some crazy cars in this class next year, as am I.

We enjoy seeing people push the absolute limit of the stock appearing turbos. Anyone can toss a giant turbo on a car and run fast times, its more fun to see people get creative when given a huge restriction like the stock frame turbos provide. 8's will happen in this class...I have faith

I moved onto a 6766 setup that I am currently running. I'm in search of 8.3 or faster with my evo now. You will have to wait and see what's in store for this season. Ill make a build thread soon.

No, just a good opportunity came at the right time and now I want to be the quickest period. Big goal, but it should be a fun journey with lots of learning, testing and racing. Hopefully ill be all dialed in for the shootout. Still rebuilding from last season. But I have high hopes for this year!

I'm not sure what "BS" you were referring to? The stock turbo challenges are quite fun and not as easy as some people may think. The one's that have tried can tell you how much work going from a 10.5 to a 10.4 can be, forget kissing 9's. Tyler's setup was definitely capable of 9's, we just didnt have enough seat time with the car to get it dialed in. He basically had about 5 passes on that setup before his original stock turbo finally called it quits after countless dyno pulls prior to the Shootout. At that point he decided to move on for now. It will still be fun to revisit the stock turbo setup some day

Wasnt trying to be negative, just some humor

It wasn't no BS with running low low 10's like you guys did in tyler's car. I wish yall could have thrown another 9turbo on the car to break into the 9's, but now rocking the new setup will be crazy. Definitely gonna being a rocket!

Lets just say that while at the World Cup Finals at MIR in November, we found enough sand in the intake manifold and cylinders to rule out track sand bein blown around. Our guess is some jerk was nice enough to toss a handful in his air inlet on his headlight funnel.

Life Lesson #453676:
Either run a cone filter or NEVER leave your car unattended with an open intake or turbo.

Yea... Talk about costing an arm and a leg this off season has become one hell of a wallet breaker. But ill have it back together and ready to go for the shootout. From now on my car will have a 24/7 body gaurd.
