Does AMS Flash control Boost?

I am curious if AMS flash controls the boost as well. Or does AMS still recommend a manual boost controller for tuning?

I can use either method, but prefer a manual boost controller for the best power results and adjustment by the car owner.

thanks

Chris, can you guys use the ECU to control boost on a 50 trim kit as well? With my current mods, the MBC isn't really cutting it, since I've lost some torque on spoolup, and I'd like to get it back by running more boost initially and letting it taper.

You would be a good candidate for an experiment that I have been wanting to do. I think we can use a BCS like the AEM solenoid to do just this. The boost targeting wouldn't be 100% dead on when the weather changes, but with small adjustments to the flash these could be tuned out real quick.

I don't really drive the car in winter anymore, so if we can set it up to work between 50-100 degrees, then that would be fine. Maybe we can talk about it when I bring my car in to have the custom exhaust quoted...

It should be perfect for that. I will speak to you about it when you stop by next.
