Where do you guys run in malaysia? Sepang? I've been to KL and around up into the North.

yes the car enthusiast community here do a lot of racing at the tracks in Sepang and various other circuits here n there... but there's a lot that goes on in the streets too... normally late at nights in industrial areas where there's lots of long straight roads where loads of ppl organise their own little 'drag sessions'.... but when the 5-0 show up... hehehe...i'm sure we do what most ppl round the planet do - f.ckin RUN like a b.tch on fire.....

so i assume ur in the US??? (soCal means wat? cali?? sorry i'm m'sian have no idea wat it means hehe) wats ur scene like?? have a fren tat graduated in the US now living in san diego - he says the drag scene there is off the hook dude. he even taped some of that **** and emailed the clips to me... it looks so exciting and y'all do it in BUSY STREETS!! yikes man! so wat car events u got goin on there eh?

 

**** man i notice the filipino section is damn happening la!! guess all the m'sians r on the zth website la. c'mon guys encourage mo locals 2 join! this is such a great website have learnt so much from it...

 

Socal Means southern california. Yeah the car scene here is pretty crazy b/c there are so many people and all of them own cars. ITs the largest car market in the US.

Which of course means that the racing scene here is pretty good. We have racetracks all over the place.

I have a buddy's name is Adi and he's originally from KL but I think he works in Australia right now. He's a computer guy.

yo ppl! just wondering are there alot of Evo owner in KL? i will be going to KL this september and hope to meet some of you guys there! Used to me Malaysian too, moved to US 10 years ago.

 

There are a lot of EVO on KL.Most of them is CT9A.

Hello Peepz,well i'm not malaysian,just thot i'd check in to find more info on my Evo.I'm bruneian by the way,hey Haziq9,i see ur ride is FQ.. mind sharing the pics.. back here we haven't got any FQ arounds... too expensive.

 

I'm not Malaysian (Filipino) but I was there around end of July. I spotted an evo in front of the Dragst shop, and I think he's the owner of the shop too.

I tried to checkout the shop (and the evo) but I guess he's about to go in a meeting and didn't get a chance to come back then... So I hope to checkout the shop with my next visit

 

Hi guys, another expat here. I was born in KL but I left there when I was 13 years old in 1989 when my family migrated to Canada. I don't own an Evo as Evos are not sold in Canada . The closest thing to an Evo that I could get here was the Dodge SRT-4 and so I bought one. As far as the WRX and WRX STi are concerned, yes they are sold here but I've never really been a fan of Subaru products so purchasing one was out of the question.

I was in KL last year but I didn't see a single Evo at all, however I did see a lot of Protons that were modded to look like Evo though . Perhaps all the Evos were tucked away in hibernation when I was there. However, there was a really nicely modded R33 Skyline GTR that I saw at my cousin's apartment building. It was occupying the parking stall adjacent to my cousin's in the underground parking garage.

 

Just out of curiousity, has anyone ever taken their car up to Genting for a nice touge run?
