evovin, a friend of mine recently brought in a Tomei built 4G63 Genesis 2.2L engine tobe placed in his Evo VII and is now choosing between an AMS GT850R or an HTA35. Plan niya is a high powered road monster to be used for NLEX and SCTEx runs. What would you go for? He is not after drag, ok na sa kanya ang 11secs but it reaches naman like mga 280 to 300kph. Sabay when he brings it to BRC or SIR, he will still be having good lap times. Kung baga, all-out performance car

AMS GT850 is not really comparable to HTA35R coz they have bigger wheel more likely they are comparable to HTA37R or PT67.

HTA35R will be his perfect choice due his 2.2 advantage! It will spool faster than AMS GT850R.
Not to mention that HTA35R has been proven many times to dominate at the track.
With HTA35R and his supporting mods and on a lighter car....thats an easy high/mid 10's on pump gas.
Maybe if his grandma would drive it...it would be in 11's on that set up

Tell him not to hesitate of getting HTA35R

His goal actually is not a drag car, more of a "banzai" car he can use for high-speed runs in the Skyway, NLEX and SCTEx. BTW, dina ren uso gaano drag dito, mostly drift tsaka circuit talaga. Ok na sa kanya daw ang 11s, basta maka sagad sa top speed up to 300kph and pag traffic sa EDSA, he can easily drive it like any normal car. Yun ibang parts niya ay ARC Titanium Exhaust, ERL downpipe, HKS Vpro ECU, tsaka marami HKS goodies. He bought his 2.2L Tomei tuned 4G63 from Japan mismo and now he likes a turbokit like a GT35R.

I am sure when you were here, uso non sa Evo ay dina-drag. Ngayon, isa nalang makikita mo, the rest they use it for trackdays and high speed runs like what they do in Japan. If there is a Midnight club in Japan that runs the Wangan up to 300kph, then there is a Sunday club here that runs the NLEX and SCTEx up to 300kph ren.

I live in Pensacola Florida...The closest Road Rracing track is like 8 hours away at least. That's why I'm into Drag here coz my house is just 20min from the track. Im sure if I were closer to do Road Racing I'll get in to it.

As far as your choice HTA35R is your best bet.

musta pre? i'm in los angeles pero i went up there nung may 2008 sa bothell at lynnwood, wa. astig ang lugar dyan pre. naisakay ko ang evo ko for the 1st time sa ferry nyo going to the other side of the bay/lake.
