Just joined. My parents tell me I'm Filipino but I was raised in the Bay Area. Sorry no Tagalog here but I did take a couple years of it at UC Berkeley-class of '90 and yes I know I'm very old.
I heard the X will have a DSG style transmission. I've been tempted to buy a VW Mk V GTI just for the tranny. There was a Japanese video comparing two racecar drivers, one in a MT and the other in the DSG. The DSG was about 3 carlengths ahead at the 1/4 mile. That sold me on the DSG. So now I plan on buying an Evo X when it comes out. For now just cruising the forum...

Hi Pinoys! Please do pray for a safe elections here in the Philippines. As you guys are very aware of, elections here had been very chaotic. This 2007 elections had been bad as well, so much killings taking place. Not safe to go out first.

I heard this one guy campaigning in pamapanga i think for mayor got killed .. Ding Dong Dantes was campaigning for him and he almost got shot in the knee..
