Just wondering what the best engine code is for the 1.5 L engines. I kinda had a poke about under the bonnet of my CC Coupe and found 4g15 under there. Ive had a look at the sticky thread and it just says what they are.

 

thats correct.. you have a 4g15.. but you can have 3 different guises ( correct me if i'm wrong, haven't played with lancers for more then 4 months now ) the single cam carby fed 4g15, the single cam fuel injected 4g15, or the twin cam fuel injected 4g15 ( imported, or stolen bits from hyundai excels )

Well, phreak has a twinus cammus 1.5.. not too sure which car it's from thouigh.. you can do it..

 

yeh i`m dohc in a ce lancer but all i did was drop the car of at rpw and they did the work and then i just picked it up and had fun

as far as i know the gear came from japan

your better off dumping the engine, fitting a 4G93 ( twin cam, 1.8 efi) in from a CC Lancer or a GSR ( with the hairdryer) simple simple.. but must be from that era though, after that the engines are swapped around
