Petrol just went up in my town. I live in Central Queesland and it just went up to 92.7 cents a litre.

Remember we have it easy up here in Queensland, as the petrol is around 10c a litre cheaper than the rest of the country. Also many of us are running premium so the 92c a litre does not seem that bad. I must admit I am not too happy about the petrol jumping almost double from some 4 years ago.

 

in perth we up to over a buck easily. its gotta be illegal in some countries. what are you guys thoughts on gas conversion ?

 

Gas prices are goin right up too aren't they? I don't reckon the price of the conversion and loss of performance would warant it...
althought .... prices probly won't go down again till Bush decides whether he's gonna bomb the F*#k through IRAQ and get it over with, or run off with his tail between his legs!

too bad my car is in the hosptial (due to my shonking driving) otherwise i would have been stocking up!!!

within the time i have posted, the servo next door has decided to loose its customer and is now 1.09.. 1.15 in town for Ultimate !

the crappy thing about it is, 50% of the money you pay for petrol is tax.....
the government gets sooooooooo much of it!!!

they are still making millions of dollars if they sold petrol at 39c a litre..... does that say something!!!

 

yeah but we do live in the best country in the world cause we have a pretty good government... but they probably tax way too much.
