Rust Bubbles On Rocker Cover

hey, popped my bonnet this morning, and noticed rust bubbles on the rocker cover of my 4G15... anyone else had this problem?

they are quite small, i have never really noticed them today as i was cleaning my engine.. what the **** man?

any help, would be bloody great, i hope this has nothing to do with water in the engine.

Pete.

I would not be too worried, although I have never heard of this before, I am sure it is nothing to worry about. Take the rocker cover off, have a look around, strip it back and paint it.

Dude, won't heat-proof paint effect the cooling ability of the raditor, by decreasing the heat transfer? As far as I'm aware, u want as much heat to emit off the raditor as possible.
I've seen plenty anodised/plated, but heat proofed...?

So it's heat-proof paint, as compared to heat-PROOFING paint, as used on exhaust manifolds and the like? How easy is it to remove the rocker cover to paint it? Whats involved - is there anything to be espeacially carefull of?
