hey Ozzidave !

you should join our GSR_Evo list then for some advice....

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gsr_evo

or send an e-mail to gsr_evo-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

it's a fairly busy and interesting list, has helped me immensly. Quite a few ACT GSR_Evo people on there too.

Can't post a pic as the size limit for pics is pretty small...

Yeah, thanks man, I love it.It's in immaculate condition . I now will have to sell my Galant VR4.
Next week I am fitting a Blitz electronic boost controller. It's now running about 0.8 bar(stock) Hopefully up it to 1.2 bar. Setting it up on a 4wd dyno.

VR4s are fantastic cars. Sheer luxury with 200 hp 4wd .They are the ultimate street sleeper 'cause few people know what they are , and have 600, yes 600hp potential. If you want to find out a bit more about them, go to www.jgronline.com . That is the best and most imformative VR4 website going. Very friendly also. I still love my VR4 , but I love my new EVO 3 better. It was the next logical step(if you can find one).
The VR4 will have to go, sadly, after 4 1/2 years of faithful service.

Which Galant VR4?

The current Japan Spec VR4 has a 280ps/38kg-m 2.5L TT 4WD. Has the same AYC as the Evo with a lovely INVECII -5spd transmission. Only weight would hinder its performance, but its still no slouch factory claim times are 0 to 100 in 6s for the sedan and 6.6s for the wagon. I've driven and raced them, they are
indeed fast.

As for the last VR4 to reach Aust Shores '91-'93, which basically was the last VR4 Mitsubishi used for their rally before the much lighter Evo took over.
It had a 148KW/29Nm 2.0L Turbo 4WD with 4WS. Also a nice car, but age is really more a factor compare to Evo and Rexs.
