Pricing on Factory Parts

Hi guys, i'm new the the forums,

just got a new 07 CH lancer ES in red.

I live in melbourne and i'm looking to install fog lights and a front strut brace.
I called up Eastside Mitsubishi to get some factory price as they would be covered by the 5 year warranty and was told $455 for the fog lights and $542 for the the Front Strut Brace, the guy i spoke to didn't sound like he knew what i was asking about as he asks where does the front strut brace go? does it go all the way across??? Anyways if you could let me know if these prices are indeed correct that would be great.

i did see some lancer fog lights on ebay for about 75US plus 40US delivery, also would the EVO IX strut brace fit the new ES? i hear it weighs alot less

PS will load pics of my car when i find time to wash it.

dude, whatever you do, dont get factory fog lamps. they are a bloody rip off.

I scored mine off ebay and + install it was around $200. But becareful, the switch might not fit onto the hole in your dashboard, i had to have mine reshaped.

Lookout for 04+ fog lamps.

yeah i called around to all the mitsubishi's in melb, average for the front strut is 217 plus about 50 dollars to get them to install it.

Yeah i'm tossing up between the whiteline one for 200 or the factory one, it would seem that the premium i would be paying would be for the 5 year warranty to the strut.

Yeah the factory fog lights are a rip off, as they also charge like 100 dollars to in stall them. however i did see an add at eastside mitsubishi for CE lancer fog lights discounted from 250 to 180.

probably just get whiteline strut for now, can't justify the fog lights just yet even if its from ebay
