The Filter Thread.

Okay guys, heres the filters used for the 4G15 Carby ( and i think the fuel injected version for the oil too.) If you know the other filters used, please post them up.

Repco Ryco

Oil
ROF54 Z411

Air
RAF95 A1211

Fuel
RPF1013 Z524

And the Spark plugs recommended for these engines are BP5ES/BPR5ES NGK Plugs, but people may prefer others.. i didn't take note on the work PC on what they were.

You would not happen to have the numbers for the new 2.4lt mivec 4g69 by any chance... at the moment they are telling me because it is a new engine etc it is a mitsi only part

You might want to check the date on this thread as it was started in 2005

The filters are an easy one as I use the same filter as the Grandis and the EVO's...

there was a review in some car magazine and the K&N pod filter came out on top as for the best filtration and air flow - certainly worth the extra dollars

I read that article too, last months Autosalon (should I hope to see your car in it?) - K&N was 1st of 10 for filtration and 4th of 10 for airflow.
Was a good test with very interesting results
