4g93-T

Hi all,

I recently got a quote from Rolin Automotive for a 1/2 cut (4g93-T) and installation into my lancer 1.8 cc coupe. The price, fully fitted, was approximately $4000. How does this compare with other companies and the quotes/prices that you've paid?

For anyone who has done this conversion, what sort of 0-100 and 1/4 times have you had since? Has the engine responded well to mods?

Thanks for your time,
Khay0s

i put a 4g93t in my proton satria gti. cost me $5500. a bit on the high side considering it was a direct bolt in!

any way, the car went really well using my existing 2.5in exhaust and k&n pod filter. well worth the transplant considering i went from 103kw at engine to 120kw at the wheels, approx 150kw at the engine.

i have since gone spastic with mods on mine, now makes 225kw (300hp) with about that at the wheels once i can get new rods and pistons coz the pistons take a max of 16psi and the rods are terminal at 340 to 360hp

cheers
