Talking Ive decided my upgrade ... 4G92 MIVEC

After thinking about it for a long time ive decided to go against the trent and instead of a 63, im gana put in 92 Mivec. I saw this car once on the net with a MIVEC in it and another one in the magazine zoom and well for a N/A car it goes pretty hard.
One guy was pulling 97kw at the fly and the mivec was stuffed 2 (electrical problem). I just wana know if any1 knows any companies that can get their hands on a 92 to suit a 1994 CC lancer coupe, my budget is about $2500 to $3000 but im fitting in the engine because i got all the tools i need (craine, engine stand, etc) im considering putting twin throttle bodyz on it, extractors, a VTEC/MIVEC controler and 2.14 inch exhaust with a Greddy Exhaust (what do u think)
my friends have been telling me to add another $2000 and have it turbo charged but i quite frankly i dont think it would work and it would be a guessing game, plus ive never seen it done b4. I will be making a Internet site with photos and pics and details descripions of what was required to fit it in and get it running properly.
But if any1 has and suggestions or comments they would be greatly appriciated and once its done, i will be running a qtr mile and showing the slip on the site

the 4G92 mivec isn't a real good engine to turbo.. but other then that it's really good i have 90kw at the wheels on my gen 1 mivec
Half-cut cost me $2500 from asian autos in brissy. hope your replacing the full wiring loom.

There was a 4g92 in the paper over here for $900 with loom.
The 92 responds well to the mods you got listed, but its not worth bolting a turbo to it, be easyer to put in a gsr or evo motor

Dont know if this helps dude,

My mate had his Lancer 1.5, stripped then decompressed, then turbo charged. When the project was finished he pulled 142KW@wheels on the Dyno (DynoDynamics)

I thought that was pretty good, for a 1.5

Cheers ...

I dont have the details, but you can contact Simon

from Promaz Automotive www.promaz.com.au

The project was done at this workshop.

I'm sure Simon remembers the project, and he will be able to go through all the details.

There may even be some pics of the car on the site ....
yeah just a couple of flash pics of the front mount cooler that Simon fitted ...

Cheers ..
