Brisbane Motorshow

I am going to the Brisbane Motorshow tonight (Friday) and I will try to take some pictures of the Lancer Evolution VIII and Pajero Evolution. Hopefully I will be able to get some close ups of the Lancer . I know you have all seen pictures of these cars so I won't post them unless someone wants me to?

Aston.

Thanks for the pics rexhunta. It's good to see an EVO that was actually in Australia.

Did your dad get any internal pics of the car? Usualy with those barriers it is pretty hard.

Doesn't look like a lot of people were looking at it either. You reckon that is beacuse no one here really has a clue that mitsubishi make these things?

Cheers

Ok, I'm back. The pictures are here Brisbane Motorshow Pictures . I liked the Pajero . Sorry no Magna pictures because there wasn't anything special, only a vr-x that you can see at any mitsubishi dealer. There was a Lamborghini Murcielago (or however it's spelt) and Gallardo and a few others but no pictures sorry.

If anyone want's bigger pictures, let me know. Originals are 2560 x 1920 pixels.

I'd go and find some smarter dealers.

1) The EVO VIII IS coming. That is a fact.
2) The spec is finalised
3) They will be here in May/June - Adelaide Ralliart take delivery in May
4) Only 100 available in Aus for 2004, another 100 in 2005 (same EVO VIII)
5) Price is not finalised but will be bewteen $60 - 65k AUD

If you want to know more, start a new thread and I can tell you all about them.

the pajero evo is freaking Phat is all i can say.. those rims are massive....

there wasnt' nothign really special at the show.. i guess highlight was the lambos...
you weren't even allowed to sit on most decent m'bikes nor lexus or any luxury type cars...

Geez guys, none of your Mitsu guys know anything about the Evos do they?

The reason that we are getting the Pirelli tyres is do to the differences in domestic rally teams. Ralliart around most countries uses the Yoko brand, but here in Ais for the ARC ralliart uses Pirelli. It comes down to sponsorship dollars and company alliances for the country of import.
I personally think that getting the Pirelli tyres are cool.

Do you know which tyre they were? Pzero?

Sorry for the delay, I have been away since my last post. The tyres are Pirelli PZero.

One luxury/sports car that was open and people were sitting in was the Audi RS6.

Sorry got no pics of the VW chicks my g'f would of dumped me before i even turned on the camera!!

only toook pics some cars, like the two lambos.. no evo pics, cause everybody knows what a evo 8 looks like!!

THX1138 i knew that the oz rally team use pirelli, but i just thought it was strange, using them on evos, where most, if not all evo 8 uses advans? i just wonder how much a diff the respected tyres make to the cars grip... who cares about that crap anyway, not like i'll be driving one
