CE Lancer Mods On L's

hey guys whats up? im new to this site... but i know all bout polls from nissansilvia.com im on my l's now but im puttin my silvia on hold till im 18 coz of obvious resons (insurance rego n stuff).
anyways im driving my mums 4 door CE lancer glxi. not a bad car. ok 1. if heard that factory turbo kits bolt on to them lancers... is this posible?
2. If i put on just like a $300 exaust for now, will i need to add a pod/air filter to make it sound good?
3. im not gonna out any rims/body kit, but im thinkin of changing the deck, leaving the stock speekers (not bad good bass, no treble .... ), and add a amp with 3 x 9" Pionner subs i got in my room.

thanks and what u ppl think bout that? worth it? or save for my silvia? LOL

since its your mums car, id probably wouldnt bother doing anything to it and save for doin up your silvia. BUT if your only 16 and have like 2 years till you can drive ur silvia, then go for it, maybe dont bother with turboing it tho, unless u rather lancers over silvias (like me) and sell ur silvia coz your new turbo charged lancer will kick its *** (buy it off your mum

putting on a 300 dollar exhaust on it is fine, no need for air or pod filter to make it sound good, but id recommend u get some extractors as that makes the exhaust note deep and low

As for the stereo, go for it, when you change over to your silvia, u can easily take the stereo out of the lancer and into yours

Quick question... Does a new muffler add anything to the power of your car? Or do you have to go all out for high quality extractors and all that for it to make a difference?

And for a good sound you just need the muffler right? Not the extractors?

Someone else tell me some cheap rice for my 95 Lancer Coupe, and dont flame me as I cant really afford any serious power mods right now... or just tell me anything cheap that I can do, anything. Its stock and ****ty atm.

Basic Basic stuff for your as its a carby is exhaust, extractors, maybe a different Carby.. or you can change it, and find a CC 4g93 (your engine sits the wrong way for the ce and above 4G93's).. can get them from the jap wreckers.. or even if you can find one the 4G93 DOHC N/A from a late emodel Proton Satria GTi that are out atm.. all it is a CC mitsi technology on a Mirage base.. and renamed named Proton with a nice kit..
