evo 9 six tranny failure under normal driving

so i recently got myself my dream car the evo9 six speed au spec but unfoturntly i took it for a drive yesterday just to clear out the airflow meter that i just serviced, so this is how it happened i was driving along doing about 70k's and decided to put the foot down a little just to clear it out only went down for a sec or two but when i went to slow down and down shift it was stuck in 3rd it still has full operational clutch not slipping but wont come out of 3rd gear now ive checked all around the linkages nothing seems to be jamming them anywhere so thats ruled out if anyone no's of a good honest manual transmission specialist that is in sydney if you could let me no i would really appreciate it apparently people have told me maybe the slider 3rd to 4th gear is damaged or the shift fork could be bent i dont if anyone has had this problem with there evo could you let me no a gestimate of what this will be costing i allways thought these evo's were pretty industructable didnt think it could fail like that under normal driving conditions
