Exclamation no power

I found out my engine hasn't got much power.
1st gear... rev alright to get it to 20km/h
2nd gear... rev quite heavy up to 40km/h
3rd gear.... rev hard to get it up to 60Km/h
4th gear.... must rev very hard to get it up to 100Km/h, the engine scream very very loud.

Argggg... BTW my car is still under 3000 Km and it's has been 8 months old
I'm a weekend driver...

So... Is this normal !!!

I wonder why people upgrade the look (body kit, wheels, etc) first rather upgrading under the bonet stuff..

IMHO... look means nothing if it doesn't have guts...

Your '93 should pull harder then my '15. i would seriously suggest to get it fixed.. Do you run your Air-Conditioning constantly ? that drops power.. But i think you should head down to a reputable Mitsi Service Centre and get it checked..

My 4g93 is getting a lot more power than that with air-con on full, passengers and stereo as well. Not to mention the fact that mine is 11 years old... I seriously suggest getting it looked at.

So... Do you think it's the hand brake he hasn't released, or the boat he's towing?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

odd. my CG pulls fine
1st - 45
2nd - 90
3rd - 130
4th - 170 then starts to run out of puff.

I think you need to have your car checked out.

twing: none, its stock.
wont go any faster in 5th either heh. I think during a service they may have flashed the ECU as 170 appears to be a speed limit that I didnt have earlier. very odd.

I've had mine out to 175, on a long straight downhill in the track, but that was topping out 4th, not sure of RPMs as i was not looking at my tacho at that speed..

Is that max speed, or did you slow because of the end of the straight?
