u could be a ricey guy and get a sports muffler and tip. that would cost around 350. thats the chromed price at a good carshop. makes it a little faster as well... get a air filter put on as well. it will add sound and a bit of power.

Gazz78,

Firstly, welcome to Lancer world.

No, you won't have to remap your computer or do anything else except sit back and enjoy it if you put a filter and exhaust on.

I can even help you out.

I have a Genuine 5Zigen Stainless Steel Sports Exhaust which will bolt straight onto the Lancer for sale.

It was on my Lancer which has since been sold.

Because it has all the mounts and bolts on (no welding) it will slot straight into position.

It also has twin 3 inch 5Zigen upswept tips which are worth the money alone.

Looks Great, Sounds Awesome.

If interested, drop me an e-mail at sirmx6@hotmail.com for pics.

I'm open to offers.

Also, I have a Simota Rampod Filter from my Lancer too. Fits straight on and works with the MAP sensor on the Lancer which is very sensitive. Makes a great induction noise and does give it a bit of extra power.

Let me know if interested.

Consider insurance first, Plan your mod's ring some insurance companies and see what they quote you, then go ahead with the mods

i asked the guy at the dealership the same question and he told me that they just use the same people that everybody else uses and that they just hike up the price. It would be better to go out ans get it yourself.

have you guys ever thought about making your own intakes?
i mean, without any knowledge or skill of turbos, intakes or anything, i sat down, read a lil, designed an exhaust manifold for the turbo for my 1.5 litre carby, and built it, then made the rest even to add on a non standard carby ( the carby is an SU from a Mini !) i mean, you'll end up being original, and it's one of a kind !

some mods you can do that are easy are simple... pod, exhaust.. rims.. and of course.. blue neons under the seats ! make you feet go a lot faster, and you can see your flashy pedals at night
the fastest mod ever to be put on car
