Question the ultimate choice.

Hello, the name's Phill and I'm new here... Came over from the supra forums after my father said i couldn't get one... anyhows... i was jus wondering what you people all think the best/better car to get is (stock) under 15-20k? I'm looking more upto the 1998+ Range? Currently favourites are the 2001 CE II MR, 2000 CE II VR-X and a couple others.. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou,

I seen a 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer CE2 GLi (2Door) for 14k....
it's only a 1.5L 4cyl, but i will be taking the engine out and replacing with the EVO engine..
it's got like 38,000kms..

Yeah putting a 206kw engine in a FWD car.. i would honestly rather save more, and buy AWD..

you'll kill yaself in the wet.. It'll be nearly uncontrollable on boost

Do you have all the extra money to swap it? It's a quite complex procedure and often not worth it.
