So THX1138 will you advise when it is up and running?

My thoughts:

1. Keep the content EVO only as there are other generic sites in Australia.

2. As for why have another site when there is plenty of information on UK and US registers - well you would have to keep the content very Australian, obvious, but how - maybe Australian product comparisons / content from Australian Tunning shops...ask what benefits are there in an Australian forum and address these otherwise I will be using the US and UK forums...

Just some rushed thoughts...

Thanks for your thoughts. The idea is to keep it Evo and GSR users only as you mentioned.

The use for this forum is to not ignore the rich source of information that the US and UK sites can offer, but as you mentioned to keep the Australian owners in touch with current news and updates. Also as our cars are different to both the US and UK markets along with availability of parts and workshops it may be a great place to bounce ideas and questions off.

With my pervious forum perth-wrx.com, there was a call of only 15 cars when that started as much could be learnt from the overseas knowledge bases. As the cars became more accessable the need for local knowledge became paramount. If Mitsu release the Evo IX as a full run car next year this is something will be needed here as well.

Just getting a head start really.

Website: http://dotdxf.com/evolutionoz/web/ (still under contruction)
Forum: http://www.dotdxf.com/evolutionoz/index.php

The final URL will end up being www.evolutionoz.net

Thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming
