I'm looking to buy a 99 Lancer GLiX (or model very similar) but need advice…



I want the convenience of a 4dr Sedan however I don't like its headlight and bonnet arrangement, preferring the slanted 'evil' look of the couple.



Is this a simple matter of replacing the headlights and bonnet or is there more to it than this such as chassis differences?

chassis is the same im pretty sure.

 

mostly the same. but check these things first at a dealer parts outlet guards, bonnet, grill and lights (I know that the bumper is definatly different)

 

Yeah I'm happy to replace bumbers, grills etc because I was going for a body kit anyway. Think I might just head down to a car yard and play spot the difference in chassis (if there is any). You wouldn't think so would you...

 

i dont think there is as the bumper reo is the same from coupe to sedan.
