Well Its official

Its official, I'm Pi**ed off.

I've tried a New Cat, the O2 simulator, the mechanical fix, and still throwing a P0137 Code.

I know that there is a handful of people with this problem, and I don't want to hear (take the bulb out) Now what the hell I'm I supposed to do.

Someone, please HELP ME.

step 1) get in car and turn on car

step 2) drive to dealership

step 3) get out of car and talk to mechanics who fix things like that for a living

step 4) Rinse and repeat as necesary. (and you really might have to repeat)

P0420: Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold -- this is the error for running with an agressive cat or cat delete.

P0137: Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Voltage -- is your problem. Probably a bad or damaged O2 sensor or wiring problem (a guess). Replacing the cat, doing the mechanical fix or O2 simulator wont help with this.

Of all the times that people have complained about the dealership and or wanting to deal with the dealership, and all of the trouble of involving the dealership in this kind of situation, and this it the first response I get.

Is all this problem code does is cause the CEL to come on? Does it actually adversly affect the engine?

I thought that the simulator intercepted the signal and changed it before it reaches the ECU. How would this not fix the problem?

someone already tried changing the O2 on there car with the same problems and it still didn't work.
I don't feel like wasting money to find the same thing.

I'm convinced it is a computer problem.

There is more than one O2 sensor on the Evo. All of the fixes you mentioned address the second sensor after the cat. Your problem might be with the first?

Are you refering to the O2 sim Manual? where it says to call them. Otherwise it is hooked up properly.

There are suggestions here. Try what you can. I suggest buying or borrowing a scantool for some of the tests...

Its for a vette, but a lot of the principals apply. Dont know what the correct voltages are though.

P0137 is second 02 sensor, so you are on the right path sophic, as Im sure you already know.
