Maybe I should get into SCCA just for the extra seat time.
In the mean time, anyone know of some stock GSR wheels for sale on the cheap? I'm going to need them if I'm running a whole season just to save some street tires

how soon were you looking to buy? I am at the verge of the budget where selling my OEM GSR wheels/tires would get me enough for wider RPF1's, but no luck here in Houston. I don't mind the drive

Anyway, after March I will probably head up to you NTEC/NTAX guys for some events after local ones here in Houston. You guys just sound like you have way more fun up there

but I have two more back to back next week, then March 16th-18th is the National Tour at College Station (which is only 45min from Houston). After that, I should be plenty bored enough to look for some events to drive up north for

I'm more into picking the cushion out of my butt after a close quick run. Hahahah

11 March for SCCA? Any specific rules I need to look into? I'd be down, for sure.

Nope same rules, but you only get 4 runs. Just make sure your helmet is good because they will inspect it.

Immediately! I've about cooked my stock tires already and I'd like to get my set up together in time for the March 24th event. How much were you looking to get?

sorry for the delayed reply. My set of RPF1's will be shipped in a week at most (bought used, seller is waiting for his new wheels)

mine have a few scuffs/chips (from previous owner), nothing abnormal from anyone else that DD's their Evo really. wrapped with NT05's with TPMS that only see an auto-x event every month (evo is no longer DD), so plenty of tread

if you want both, that would make it easy for both of us. won't have to take out TPMS - just bolt on and get reprogrammed - no labor to install tires or anything. let me know if interested in either and I'll keep you updated
