The surface was awesome. It was like Pennington but better - think new subdivision street surface, tons of grip. The paddock and grid are kind of merged together, and the entire heat did all 6 runs without grouping.

The course was narrow and small (my ftd was 26.5) but a lot of fun because it was relatively open and fast with only one really challenging turn. The next event on 3/25 will use a second lap to increase the time. I hope to god this allows them to move the course away from the curb several yards, as the Foley/Wagner evo slid to a scary stop within 3-4 ft of a curb - right in front of me. Something about evos, Kumho r-comps and RPF1's I guess.

Overall ER did a good job with what they had. It's a fun place and maybe 20 minutes East of downtown Dallas.

Jeremy A, I know you left, but dude you got first in SM! I did too, but was in STU novice. Still I got my shirt! I hope everything gets sorted out with the car and that you'll be back at it in no time.

So...did it damage your car?

Chris got first in novice out of thirteen drivers. Way to go!

I got first in SM out of thee drivers. Plus placed 13 out of 62 in the Pax which is very good for me but has room for improvement of course.

Wagner and Foley got first and third in Pax. Awesome driving.

Thanks man!

I just realized that I placed 22/64 in R pax with 26.039! Too bad R pax doesn't count toward class time. I honestly think I could have had a high 25 if I could have figured out that last turn. I got my 26.039 by going in full brakes and seriously giving up all speed. I then cut that center cone as tight as I could and then gunned it. This worked well, but I was actually too slow. I drifted wide on all four novice class runs. I never found a good medium.

Anyway, having good tires makes all the difference in the world. The car does everything better. I could actually focus on improving my lines rather than fighting understeer.

Haha, man I was scared for the car - really nice save. There was quite a bit of tire dust left behind.

Awesome driving from both you and Jon all day. Pretty cool that I got to work second so I could watch.

Yeah, I didn't really slam on the brakes till the last minute. I'm used to having more run off room than that.

Again, congrats on the novice win. You're car and driving looked very good. Let me know if you ever need any help.

Also, I noticed your car looked a little boggy in the last turn. Do you have a tune on the car? If not, see Kevin ASAP lol!

P.S. Sorry if we hit a bunch of cones in your section. We were adjusting to a brand new suspension setup and trying to get it dialed in.

Nah man, you're good. I was on corner 3. That back slalom (corner 2) got hit the hardest, not just by y'all two. They got a workout for sure.

I would really appreciate the help! I'm trying to get as much right now as possible - if you look outside of Novice, I've got some work to do. However, I plan to run all of ER's events this season, which should allow me to adjust to the classing and give me a better idea of where I need to be for the next season.

And yes, my car bogged a lot around that last turn. I either came into way too fast and had to nearly stop/scrub wide or too slow and bogged when getting back on the throttle. No tune yet, but I'll be taking it to Kevin within a couple months for sure.

You can get a tune, Chris. But remember if you change your boost you'll move out of STU in to ASP.

Personally, I would not let that stop you because an upgraded clutch will do the same as will upgrading springs or intercooler pipes, etc.

Eventually some upgrade you do will move you in to ASP anyway then you'll need to get re-tuned for more boost anyway so...

Don't worry about classing and just have fun driving your car how you like it!
