ER Challenge Cup #1
Nah man, you're good. I was on corner 3. That back slalom (corner 2) got hit the hardest, not just by y'all two. They got a workout for sure.
I would really appreciate the help! I'm trying to get as much right now as possible - if you look outside of Novice, I've got some work to do. However, I plan to run all of ER's events this season, which should allow me to adjust to the classing and give me a better idea of where I need to be for the next season.
And yes, my car bogged a lot around that last turn. I either came into way too fast and had to nearly stop/scrub wide or too slow and bogged when getting back on the throttle. No tune yet, but I'll be taking it to Kevin within a couple months for sure.

You could consider a map for race or E-85, but I would talk to Kevin and get his opinion on what it would be worth power wise.
Honestly, the slower the car the better to start. A fully prepped STU car will be very quick and a fully prepped ASP car may be too much for the novice or beginner driver. No offense, but things happen very quickly in cars these speeds.
What is the rest of your setup? Driving experience, etc.
Are you open to running other clubs?
I will get the power sorted out later. I've had the car for two years and have really enjoyed the reliability of all the car's OEM hardware, including the clutch. I bought the car at 50k miles and have every reason to believe it's stock.
I honestly couldn't tell you if it's been tuned or not. I just know that it feels like a stock evo. The previous owner did install a catback exhaust, which is still on there today but that was it. The cat and downpipe are stock, along with all the IC pipes and intercooler. Even the plastic DV is still there. I added an intake because it was time to change the OEM filter and someone was selling a new HKS one for really cheap so I bought it.
Suspension-wise, I added the Bilstein's from a 9 MR, on which I installed some Swift Spec R springs. At the moment I'm very happy with this setup - though some camber plates would be nice since my camber is maxed out. The alignment is by Forrest at Texas Track Works and is -2F (bolt flipped), -1.5R, 0 toe all around - very conservative. I'm using the stock Enkei wheels and Hankook RS3 tires, 245/40. Next season I'll go as wide as I can without doing the crazy fender-rolling/flaring y'all have been doing.
Prior to last Sunday, my experience consists of I think 7 autocross events last season - two with BMW for sure and I guess five with NTAXS. I've run on almost all the current surfaces: TMS bus lot, LSP, Pennington, MW and now Resistol. I'm still very much in the learning process.
I'm definitely open to run in new clubs, but only want to commit to two/month. Occasionally I'll get another one in if I can. Right now I'm leaning towards NTAXS and ER. I've never run in SCCA. We're fortunate to have so many local clubs!
