2.2L's of displacement with a 10,000 rpm limit is tough to beat.

 

That's the point I'm making. Traction is already an issue. 1000 HP will do that to you.

There were two 2.4L destroked engines built by AMS over the past couple of months. One engine went into their drag car and the other went into my car. I spent hours in Chicago going over this engine with them before I purchased it. It's amazing and is a real credit to AMS and their abilities.

 

my car is up at ams as well, it been there since feb....last time ive heard thier still running the 2.0 4g63 in their car...maybe AMS should chime in here and clear this up!!!!

 

lol, It is a destroked 2.4L, I am 100% sure, lol. Plus I am pretty sure 3240 knows as well, He has a very similar setup(GT42R) So that is almost as good as AMS. The car has only gone down the track on boost, the engine is built for nitrous, but for now its all boost, GT42R with a destroked 2.4L, There are a bunch of threads that hint on this set-up as well. Just have to put the pieces together.

 

There is nothing to clear up BoostFreak and 3240 are right! I know for a fact! I am fimotorsports roommate and we talk to AMS daily!
