2.3 Stroker and 20G9
I recently blew my motor, I was running all stock internals (besides 272 cams and headstuds) with a 20g9 and meth. I had all the other supporting mods needed. Timing belt problem and it jumped timing... My question is, I have a stroker being built and I want to keep the 20g for now but I dont know if my 720 injectors will be enough? I want to be able to have a racegas tune (28-30) and regular pump tune (22ish) what do you think? Also I know philly evo has ran an 11.3 on 23 psi but what kind of power can I expect with this setup?
i think one guy has already done it here.... that's the setup i'm going with too.... hopes to be a torque beast!
however i'm confused as to why you'd be running 22psi on meth and pump? or are you ditching the meth?
i think 720cc should cover it, maybe do 780s for safety? good luck, PM me some numbers when you get her on the dyno!

Im ditching the meth, its too finicky feeling ive never really trusted it. I think philly evo was only running 680s I dont really know. Why are you selling the 20g if your giong with this setup?
I am going with the following mods, and will be tuned Next week.
AMS 2.3 stroker
HKS 280 Cams
TME turbo (same or close to the 20G-9?)
AMS meth injection
PWR intercooler
Injectors (whatever they reccomend)
HKS DLI spark amp.
Forge BOV.

I was at 313 on a DD dyno, which is 360 on a dynojet? that was with Pump-gas and 2.0L. Now I added the stroker/injectors and Meth, and the HKS DLI II, so I should be higher in HP is my guess. (Over Philly evo) no?
What Meth kit do/did you have?? How did the motor blow? spun rod-bearing like mine??
