The AIM units are a nice piece. I have use one on my 2G Talon for quite some time in conjunction with the AEM EMS. Its a nice consolidation of gages, and all in all ends up being quite a good value.

How much would it be on labor for this. With the basic outputs added to it boost, oil, water so on. I would assmue this is a plug and play with the aem. I like the mount but have you guys made a replacement plate for the oem unit to place this Digital dash in its place.

I bought this from AMS a year or two ago. It has worked very well for me and I am well pleased with it. A few things that people should understand though.

I run it with Autronic SM4 on my Evo 6. I run the Strada one which is about 1k usd. This has NO datalogging, the only memory it has I think is peak values. Also, I bought this dash to display things like air fuel, oil pressure, oil temp, fuel pressure, egt. Now the Autronic only has a couple spare analog inputs... therefore you need to have the sensors go straight to the AIM. This meant I needed to buy the connector/harness which does not come with the Strada. I found a nice race outfit in California who sorted out all the sensors and harness for me. It was very nicely done with neat plugs for everything. The cost was about 500 usd for this.

I run my Innovate LC1 into the Autronic, and then connect the MXL to the Autronic. With this I get AFR, coolant, rpm, vehicle speed, throttle position, intake air temp, boost, ignition angle, etc. Then I run oil and fuel pressure, oil temp and EGT direct to the AIM... oh and also a Knocklink as well. The software works very well and I like it. The alarms work well and there are plenty of alarm leds to use.

Here is a pic how I installed it. I essentially bolted it to the glass of the dash with some silicone bushings and nuts/bolts.

Unfortunately this custom piece has been discontinued for a few years now and we don't have parts here to re-make it.
